-
Josh

My role here at Allsorts is to support our young people on their personal journeys through group sessions and 1:1 support. Every young person is unique and deserves the time and space to shine. I think it's important to show that being your true self is the most beautiful thing someone can be.

My role at Allsorts is to help support our young people in 1:1's and groups. What I love about my job is getting to be my weirdest self and having fun, creating a safe space for young people to be able to do the same, make new friends, grow in confidence, and thrive.
-
Sadie
(she/her)
Group Support Worker
I support young people across Sussex through dynamic and inclusive group sessions, creating spaces where they can feel safe, have fun, and be themselves. Since I don’t work many hours, I go wherever I’m needed most—whether that’s running skill-building workshops, creative activities, or just providing a welcoming place to connect. What I love about working at Allsorts is how varied it is—no two days are the same. Each group brings together young people from all walks of life, and it’s amazing to see them grow in confidence, build friendships, and thrive in a supportive community.

I love volunteering at Allsorts and meeting all the incredible young people as well as all the people that make Allsorts happen! It’s great to be a part of a community creating safe, inclusive spaces for every young person. Something that is so important now more than ever, and I wish was around when I was younger.

Sofia
(she/her)
I went to Allsorts as a young teen and it was my safe space - it made me feel more confident in myself and gave me a community, and that’s exactly why I’m volunteering now! I love chatting to everyone and helping to create a safe and happy space where amazing young people can express themselves.
-
Steve
(he/him)
I absolutely love volunteering with Allsorts! I always learn something new and more so about myself (usually how little I know!!). It’s a great way to give something back to the community and be there for the young people – to be the person I needed when I was a young person.
