AMAZING OPPORTUNITY for LGBTQ+ young people attending our Queer Prom
A collective of local stylists (clothes and hair) is offering FREE Styling Appointments on the day of Queer Prom for young people to get a pre-prom glow-up.
Friday 10th July. Appointments between 4:00 - 6:00 pm
If you just want to attend the Glow-Up Gathering, so you can walk to Queer Prom with other young people and Allsorts staff, and don’t want a Styling Appointment, you are welcome to join us, but we request you still sign up via the link below.

After reading the information below, or meeting the stylist, use the ‘Sign Up Form’ to let us know which appointments you are interested in, and which time slot works best for you between 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm. IMPORTANT NOTE: We cannot guarantee that everyone will receive appointments if demand is high.

Michelle Barrett is a multi-award-winning personal stylist and founder of Capsule Closet Stylist, with 27 years’ experience styling private clients and celebrities.
On the day, Michelle will be offering friendly one-to-one styling slots to help you choose and style an outfit from the pieces you’ve brought with you. Expect quick, practical support like what to wear from your options, simple styling tweaks to make it feel more ‘you’, accessories and finishing touches, plus a calm confidence boost if you’re feeling unsure.
Michelle won’t presume anything about your identity or how you want to present. The support is led by you and what feels right for you.

We’ll be offering quick dry styling appointments, including braids, curls, simple hair-ups, and finishing touches to complement your look. Whether you’re bringing a wig, colourful accessories, or a specific style inspiration, we’d love to help bring your vision to life with a simplified version of your dream style.
To give as many young people as possible the opportunity to have their hair styled, appointments will be offered in time limited slots.
